The officers and directors of PAC-WI would like to thank everyone who participated in three recent events in our community. 1) The showing of “NINE DAYS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD” (2010) was a huge success. Thank you Ewa Barczyk, Director of the UWM Library, and Professor Neal Pease. 2) Over 170 community members attended the Polish Independence Day celebration and PAC “Civic Achievement Award” luncheon. Congratulation again to our awardees: Jerry Halkoski, Robert Kaminski and the Polish Heritage Society of Northeastern Wisconsin, Dr. James and Mrs. Janet Rydlewicz, Joe and Camille Shaw, and Adam and Jadwiga Zbik (A&J Deli). Thank you Sharon Haberski, Luanne Landgraf, and Don Pienkos for putting together this wonderful event. 3) A special Sunday Mass for Poland was celebrated by the most reverend father Andrzej Galant at Ss. Cyril and Methodius and Maximilian Kolbe Parishes.
In addition, PAC-WI sent letters of appreciation to all Polish teachers in Wisconsin in recognition of Polish National Education Day and to Polonia Sport Club in honor of its 60th anniversary.

Polish Saturday School – the only Polish school in Wisconsin.
We began cooperating with the Polish Saturday School by requesting support from the Polish Government and we received a very positive response. By the end of this year, the school will receive some small funds. We are seeking additional support from the Polish Senate and “Wspólnota Polska.” We are also letting our local authorities know about the only Polish School in Wisconsin. Maybe you can help?
