MISSION STATEMENT

The Polish American Congress is dedicated to:

Stimulate unified action of Polish Americans for benefit of our Community.
Promote the welfare of Polish Americans in political, religious, ethnic, educational, social and economic matters.
Protect the good name of Polish Americans, Poland, and American Polonia.
Assist the people of Poland in maintaining their national independence free from interference by others.
Educate the American public about Polonia’s historic role, its accomplishments and contributions to American history, science and culture.
Further broader contacts with other ethnic groups in the United States in cultural, religious and political dialogues.
Work with state and federal legislators on issues affecting Polish Americans and/or Poland.
Support the election and appointment of Polish Americans to various positions in government.
Encourage young Polish Americans to become involved in the political life of mainstream America.
