President’s Message
On behalf of PAC Wisconsin officers and directors I would like to thank you for your support and encourage you to work together to promote and help make PAC~WI an even more effective organization. Your involvement is crucial in this effort. Please attend meetings, as well as other events and activities in the Polish community. Check and promote our website!!!
I think the most important agenda for us is develop
A strategy for PAC Wisconsin. The Polish American Congress Wisconsin Division wishes to have the following aims for the future:
- Increasing membership through membership drives and holding public events,
- Connecting to all Polish organizations operating in Wisconsin,
- Connecting Wisconsin and Poland by increasing “sister city partnerships”,
- Utilizing internet resources to increase visibility for the Polish American Congress,
- Promoting Poland and Polish culture by showing movies like “Katyń” in Wisconsin ,
- Promoting Polish Saturday School in Milwaukee (the only Polish school in Wisconsin),
- Creating new fundraising strategies to underwrite initiatives and provide organizational support,
- Adapting the by-laws to allow for organizational mobility (to be able to run this organization in XXI century; the last update was in the early 1970’s),
- Advocating for the preservation of Polish documents and memorabilia and cooperating with relevant institutions,
- Increasing visibility for Polish American Congress in Wisconsin.
Please, attend our September meeting to take an active role in those aims. We need you and your skills!!!

Recent Events
The officers and directors of PAC-WI would like to thank everyone who participated in two recent events in our community. The annual Polish Institute of Arts & Sciences Conference held at U.W.-Milwaukee was a huge success. Our many guests enjoyed a wonderful conference, the warm hospitality of Milwaukee, as well as a slice of our rich Polish heritage. Also, Polish Fest membership drive was a tremendous success as we were able to celebrate our ethnic pride during the three-day festival on Milwaukee’s lakefront.

1. Traditional website with permanent information www.pacwisconsin.com
2. The Facebook site is another tremendous resource not only for our organization, but also a great way for members to share their experiences. It is being up dated every day with movies, photos, and interesting articles. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Polish-American-Congress-Wisconsin/121299641227424 You can become a friend of this part!!!
3. You Tube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/PACWisconsin this project needs movies about our Polish- Wisconsin history. We would like to title it: “We Wisconsin Poles”
All components are fully integrated, tested and running!!!!
4. The fourth part is a typical listserv and serving PAC Wisconsin. If you want to receive our newsletter send us an email at: pacwisconsin@gmail.com
